Pancake Saturday

Who doesn't love pancakes on a lazy Saturday morning? Yummy! And while I could single handedly eat that whole plateful, I decided to share with the men.

Matt ran into work today for a few hours so it was just Little G and I for most of the day. I got some rows done on my Colorbrick quilt and rearranged some of the quilts that hang in my studio (I watched HP 7 while I did all this). My big finish of the day was this cute soft book! These are so easy to make. The instructions are on the panel of fabric, everything's labeled, and they go together in a matter of minutes. There aren't any words in this particular book so I had to pay close attention that I keep the pages in the right order (not like Little G would know but still). So its done and has been kid approved!

It looks like the rest of the evening will be spent watching the STL/FL baseball game. I contemplated making chocolate chip cookies tonight, but I think that will be an activity for tomorrow! Little G is teething AGAIN. Seriously, how many more teeth does this kid need? I feel bad for him, it must hurt so bad :( Is it bad if I want to go to bed at 8:30pm?
