Is it the weekend yet?

Stay away from me today. I have bad juju. I had big plans for the day and while somethings did get accomplished, it was definitely a case of one step forward two steps back.

My work stuff went great, had 3 finished quilts picked up today! I love being able to give people back their quilts, it feels good!

My personal quilt stuff went, hmmm, it went no where. Well that's not true. I did finish all my rows for my colorbrick quilt! So now I just have to do the long sashing strips and throw it all together. Well because I made this quilt enormous, I didn't have enough linen to finish the project. No big deal, Ill just go get some. Went and got some - except in wasn't the same linen that's already in the quilt. My ding-a-ling head thought I would just be able to pick out the same linen without having a reference. FAIL. Go back AGAIN but cant seem to find an exact match (I prewashed the linen so I wasn't quite sure if what I got is exactly the same). WHY? Why is this happening to me?

Why is it that when you know its time to leave a store because child is ready to have a major meltdown, there is one checkout lady and 15 people in line, all of whom have multiple returns and 60 coupons and want to you check the price so they can decide if they really want it? WHY?

I went to Borders today to see if I could find a few more books. I knew that because they are closing and everything is on sale, it would be a little harder to find things. Yeah, I found nothing. Nothing from the bookstore! I know! That's okay I guess. There are plenty of books in this house that I haven't read so Ill work on those!

Next, Walmart. What can I say about Walmart? There's a lot I can say about Walmart but if you cant say anything nice . . . I was able to get printer ink and bananas at the same time. Haha, I guess that's a plus.

I was going to make peach pie today (an all time fav)! Apparently I put off making peach pie a day too long as my peaches are now bad. RIP peaches, Im sorry :(

Upload a few photos to Flickr. Cant for the life of me figure out why the time stamp is off. Spend the better part of an hour trying to figure it out. Yeah its not Flickr - its my inability to set the time on the camera correctly. Military time Kalynda, Military time!

Little G was having nightmares (or something) last night. Its so sad. I wish I could make that never happen. We got some cuddle time in (at 2 am) and I realized how quickly he is growing up. Sniff, sniff. Where did my itty bitty baby go?
